An enhanced rubber compound with a high silica content combined with an optimal groove and rib layout improves mechanical and chemical grip in all situations.

The shoulder compound features a higher percentage of silica for better contact feel in corners, especially when it's wet.

The central tread is made from a silica and carbon black blend to enhance high-speed stability, heat dispersion, and the balance between abrasion resistance and grip.

All structures of the ROADTEC™ Scooter are characterized by adaptive behavior and a lightweight design that improves handling and driving comfort. Thanks to innovative rounded profiles, the footprint area is short and wide, which, in addition to reducing consumption, increases wear consistency and provides a progressive feel and a sense of safety in corners.

The increased ground contact distributes the vehicle's weight and acceleration forces over a larger surface area, reducing stress on the rubber and overheating.

Safety on wet and low-grip surfaces

The tread design of the ROADTEC™ Scooter is inspired by the award-winning ROADTEC™ 01, which now features ribs for optimal efficiency on scooters.

This tread design has been developed to enhance mechanical traction, with a clearly noticeable advantage during acceleration and braking.

The shape and layout significantly contribute to maximizing water evacuation and mechanical grip.

The ground contact includes many grooves and rubber in contact with the road simultaneously, which improves mechanical grip, water evacuation, and the sense of security; it also ensures more rubber in contact with the ground, especially at mid-angle, allowing for better grip right from the onset of leaning in.

The front tire features numerous cross grooves that grip the asphalt like individual elements and increase the amount of water drained, while short reverse-oriented ribs enhance stability and control during braking. The grooves also contribute to increasing grip on low-grip surfaces and reduce warm-up time.

The rear tire is equipped with wide, long opposing ribs that combine different effects: during acceleration, the grooves improve traction, particularly on low-grip surfaces, and during braking, the ribs prevent lateral movement and increase stability.
