2 curved slots on each side of the board to help hold it.

Can also be held at arm's length to put your head in the water.

Can also be used to learn breathing.

Can be used on stomach or back.

Can be used for leg work on all 4 strokes (butterfly-backstroke-breaststroke-crawl).

Rarely used to put between the legs like a puol-buoy, reserved for experienced swimmers only.
