The Angl-R Barbel rods are specially designed for barbel fishing in the rivers of the UK and Europe.

Made from high modulus carbon and featuring a very powerful butt section, the rod has a progressive action that can easily control large fish.

The Avon tip is ideal for float fishing, presenting meat, or static waggler fishing. The Avon tip has been finished with a special fluorescent coating that glows in the dark after being exposed to a light source, such as a headlamp.

The rod is fitted with M-Series rings, spaced to allow the rod to perform as it should, with a lovely progressive action. Other features include an anti-tangle tip guide, a screw reel seat, and a high-quality slim cork handle. For those fishing at night, the rod comes with two clip-on isotope holders (small and large) that can accommodate isotopes of 2.2 mm or 3 mm, which easily attach to the tip of the rod and contain a night isotope light.
