The Korda size 11 PTFE coated ring propeller was designed to create a strong hinge when using Chod or Hinged Stiff Rigs. PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) coating is a synthetic polymer that has one of the lowest coefficients of friction of any solid. This makes it the perfect coating for our swivels as it reduces the friction between the barrel and the eye of the swivel, allowing them to rotate freely, thus reducing tangles.
