100% of the wood in this skateboard comes from sustainably managed forests (FSC certified). Canadian maple is widely recognized as the best wood for skateboards. Its main advantages are light weight, greater flexibility, extreme strength, perfect pop and long life. All skateboard boards from Point are cold-pressed. This method takes longer than a hot-pressed board, but does not subject the wood to high temperatures that can weaken the wood fibers. Uncut boards are left to dry for 7 days in large stacks before being finished.
