The horseshoe DUPLO is the result of the innovative work of a German blacksmith, Hubert Frank, who dedicated several years of his life to developing the idea of a horseshoe with a metal core and a flexible yet abrasion-resistant plastic coating.

Inside the horseshoe is a rigid structure to support deformations and securely hold the nails, something the plastic alone cannot achieve. The nails are placed radially, allowing us enough margin to position them just in the right spot.

The outer plastic coating absorbs the impact of the hoof on the ground, is flexible and non-slip, promotes blood circulation, and therefore, hoof growth.

It minimizes injury from impact and supports therapeutic treatments for hoof issues.

They are applied just like any metal horseshoe.
