The new and technically advanced rubber shoes Öllöv SoftStep are the result of several years of hard work by farriers and riders to develop and further improve the shoe Öllöv. Great attention has been paid to designing a rubber shoe of the highest possible quality.
This new generation Öllöv features a forged steel core that is different from previous versions. There is now practically no difference in how to shoe a horse with the shoe Öllöv SoftStep compared to a steel shoe. No special tools are required, and once you get used to working with it, it takes the same amount of time to shoe with Öllöv SoftStep as with a steel shoe.
A long list of details has been modified and improved. For example, the new Öllöv SoftStep is 30% faster to work with and nail for the farrier than the previous version. The design and shape of the rubber have been changed to provide better grip even on slippery grass, and the rubber itself is optimized to absorb strong impacts and vibrations.
The combination of rubber and steel makes this shoe a good choice for most horses. It has all the advantages of a steel shoe but without some of the downsides. For example, the design on the rubber offers excellent grip on many surfaces, including grass.
