Evolving from the CX237, Lake has improved performance and durability with its favourite for high-cadence rides, the Lake CX238 road shoe.

Designed for a better and more comfortable fit, the Competition last increases toe pitch and heel lift, allowing the foot to expand under high pedalling pressure. Supporting the shoe, the carbon fibre Race sole from Lake offers impressive stiffness and power transfer while remaining lightweight. To protect the shoe from premature wear, the full-grain leather upper features a heel panel and a rubber bumper at the toe, as well as mesh panels for adequate ventilation.

Engineered for high-pressure outings, the wider forefoot of the Lake CX238 provides the necessary relief to focus on the road ahead.

CX/TX Competition Last - With a profile specifically designed for very high cadence pedalling and higher pressure, our Competition shape features a more curved profile than the Sport shape. Key differences include increased toe pitch and heel elevation, a tighter heel, and slightly wider width at the forefoot to allow the foot to expand under high pedalling pressures.

Outsole
100% fibre carbon Lake Competition sole. Available with a 3-hole cleat pattern.

Lining
Premium water-resistant full-grain leather or Clarino microfiber and Outlast heel lining. The Helcor heel panel and rubber bumper at the front protect the upper from scuffs and scratches. The Outlast temperature-regulating heel and tongue lining offers a luxurious feel to the foot while maintaining breathable, durable, and firm grip on your foot.
