Hayes Brake fluid DOT 4

Hayes DOT 4 350 ml brake fluid is used to bleed six to twelve DOT-compatible hydraulic disc brakes, such as Hayes hydraulic disc brakes, with the exception of the Hayes Radar brake.

• Point Dry boiling point (ERBP*): 272°C
• Point Wet boiling point (Wet ERBP**): 169°C
• Viscosity at -40 ºC : 1039 mm2/s (cSt)
• Viscosity at 100 ºC : 2.3 mm2/s (cSt)
• Density : 1.054 g/cm3

* ERBP (Equilibrium Reflux Boiling Point) is the temperature at which the uncontaminated liquid begins to boil.

** Wet ERBP is the temperature at which the liquid begins to boil after having had time to absorb moisture from the environment.
