It also has a midsole made of Altra EGO™ foam for more responsiveness and direct ground contact, with a touch of firmness. We've retained many characteristics from the classic Racer, including a low cushion height of 22 mm for a quick stride, as well as a roomy toe box and zero drop for natural movement. The Escalante Racer 2 is one of the most streamlined shoes we've ever designed.
