Qu gear Ceramic Bearing RS (x16)

The QuGear Ceramic 608 RS bearings have been designed for urban gliding and extreme sports such as rollerblading, scootering, and skateboarding.

As the latest innovation in the world of bearings, the balls are made of silicon nitride (Si3N4), which electrically isolates the bearings, reduces overall weight, and increases lifespan.

The bearing ring is made of chrome steel to ensure high impact resistance and durability against wear.

The cage around the balls is made of nylon to prevent corrosion and extend the bearings' lifespan in all weather conditions.

The QuGear Ceramic bearings feature a nylon plastic shield that is protected against dust, water splashes, and moisture from the outside, in order to reduce the risk of corrosion and contamination, and allow for easy maintenance with a vertical movement using a cutter blade.

The QuGear Ceramic bearings are lubricated with oil to provide better speed performance thanks to maximum smoothness, ensuring high bearing rotation while allowing heat dissipation that protects the balls from heat and limits wear.

Bearings size 608, compatible with axles of 8 mm or smaller diameter.

Maintenance:

If you have rolled in water, squeeze the water out of the bearings by spinning them empty, and clean the shields with a dry cloth. If you hear the balls spinning or if dirt slows down the bearings' rotation, remove the wheels, take off the shields with a cutter, let the bearings soak for 24 hours in a degreaser or cleaning fluid, empty the inside by spinning them empty, and put a drop of oil between the balls before replacing the shields and degreasing the outside of the bearings with a dry cloth.
