Compared to traditional badminton and shuttlecocks, the Cross is smaller and heavier (about 9.3 g), making it automatically less sensitive to wind and weather conditions. With a maximum speed of up to 300 km/h, it can be used for fast and very long distances ranging from 20 to 40 m. All Speeders from Speedminton are exclusively produced in Germany, using recyclable high-tech plastic. The resealable container with 3 units comes with a wind-protection ring for added stability.
