Now with a range starting at 72W (3A output) up to 600W (25A output), these products offer the best in technology for fast installations and reliable long-term operation. For all types of applications that include the installation of 24V equipment on 12V vehicles and the installation of specific equipment requiring higher operating voltages.

12V-24V 400W AND 600W PRODUCTS

The recent expansion of the range includes two high output current products (17A and 25A output current). These utilize the best of current technology with a conversion efficiency of 93% and using surface mounted component (SMD) technology. This results in a very robust product with a reduced product weight. Mechanical features include a completely innovative housing designed to ensure maximum heat dissipation.
This also includes a newly designed mounting bracket that allows the product to be pre-wired before being clipped onto it. This allows for a more rapide installation, providing mechanical strength to withstand constant vibration, which eliminates the risk of losing mounting screws.

HOUSING FORMATS

The 12V-24V converters are available in two housing sizes. The 72-240W products use the standard Alfatronix aluminum enclosures with polycarbonate end caps and three-point mounting clip. The more powerful 400W and 600W products are in a larger heat sink housing that features a heavy-duty Phoenix connector. Installation is accomplished through the use of a larger four-point 'I' shaped mounting bracket.

The DD Series 12V-24V products are available in either the standard IP53 format (as are the majority of Alfatronix converters) or in a rugged IP65 version. Simply add -RU to the part number. These products are suitable for installations in particularly harsh environments subject to increased exposure to water and dirt.
