Plastic through-probe if XPTH-9-HDSI-180-T

The SH-B06T from Humminbird is a plastic through-beam probe that collects temperature data from the surface of the water.

The principle of Side Imaging is that two lateral beams scan the sides, with a theoretical range of 120m each. Unlike conventional cone-shaped beams, Side Imaging beams are very thin in their horizontal dimension, but very wide in their vertical dimension. This means they behave a little like acoustic curtains, which would be waved at right-angles to either side of the boat. The probe uses 4 frequencies 200/83/455 and 800kHz for a total coverage of 180°.

The SH-B06T probe is supplied with 6m of cable, and is compatible with all Humminbird models featuring the Side Imaging function.
