HEAT AND FITTo design the W-Skin, Samshield followed the same strategy as when it created its first gloves (the V-Skin):- Analyze existing products on the market; - Survey a large number of cavaliers.All cavaliers responded that they would like Samshield to design winter gloves for them that provide better protection against the cold, while retaining hand-horse connection, fit and elegance.W-Skin gloves are designed to provide the perfect combination of warmth, sensitivity, fit and elegance. PROTECTION AND FLEXIBILITYW-Skin gloves are made from five different materials to provide high performance and protection against the cold:- 1st layer: Goat leather: provides the best ratio of comfort, durability, windproofness, water resistance and elegance;- 2nd layer: Thinsulate®: breathable, moisture-repellent synthetic microfiber with high insulating power by trapping cold air molecules;- 3rd layer: Microfleece: as warm as wool but softer, lighter and easier to wash. Hydrophobic for better perspiration control ;- Palm: Reinforced suede printed with genuine silicone strips: offers exceptional grip, a perfect hand/horse connection, flexibility and great resistance ;- Reinforced windproof mesh offering flexibility for top-of-the-range comfort and an impeccable fit.
