The NTA 8776 certification was born out of the growing use of e-bikes as a means of urban transport. The standard takes into account the higher average speed of e-bikes, and the consequent higher impact energy in the event of an accident. To comply, the helmet must be able to dissipate more energy than standard helmets, adding extra coverage for the most sensitive areas: the temples and the back of the neck. Despite this increased safety, theE-Mob is incredibly light, weighing in at 310g in size M.
