For the Latch mountain bike shoe, we started with a new fit that brings your foot closer to the pedal and flattens the sole profile, optimising the contact surface between the sole and the pedal. Then, we teamed up with a group of rubber engineers to formulate Tack Rubber, a highly elastic compound that combines grip and durability in our new Gamma tread. Finally, at the heart of the shoe is a game-changer in performance, Mute Foam, a midsole foam specially designed with slow-rebound action that reduces noise and vibrations to help you stay connected to the pedal, no matter the ruts, roots, and rocks. The unique combination of fit, a quick-drying microfibre upper, the grip of Tack rubber, and the cushioning of Mute Foam makes the Latch a new benchmark in flat pedal performance.
