For the Latch MTB shoe, we started with a new fit that brings your foot closer to the pedal and flattens the sole profile, optimising the contact surface between the sole and the pedal. Next, we worked with a team of rubber engineers to formulate the Tack Rubber, a highly elastic compound that blends grip and durability in our new Gamma tread. Finally, at the heart of the shoe is a breakthrough in performance, Mute Foam, a midsole foam specially designed with slow rebound action that reduces noise and vibrations to help you stay connected to the pedal, no matter the ruts, roots, and rocks. The unique combination of fit, a quick-drying microfiber upper, the grip of Tack rubber, and the cushioning of Mute Foam makes the Latch a new benchmark for flat pedal performance.
