The Sol's page of the Back To School selection brings together the blank basics of a brand specialised in customizable textiles since 1991: Regent and Imperial cotton t-shirts, breathable polyester Sporty t-shirt, piqué polos, and sweaters ready to receive a logo, a name, or a number for a class, club, or association.
Blank basics, ready to receive a logo or a name.
Both flagship t-shirts from Sol's are primarily distinguished by their weight. The Regent, unisex, weighs 150 grams per square metre: lightweight and available in a wide range of colours, it has been the brand's best-seller since 1995, perfect for a school party or a back-to-school tournament. The Imperial, at 190 grams per square metre, offers a denser jersey that holds its shape better over washes and shows off a screen print more effectively. Both are made from ring-spun cotton and knitted in tubes, so there are no side seams.

For a sweating team, the Sporty t-shirt replaces cotton with a lightweight polyester of 140 grams per square metre, in a breathable mesh that dries quickly. Its raglan sleeves, sewn on a bias up to the collar, allow free movement of the shoulders during exertion, and it can be washed at forty degrees. For educators, volunteers, or an association wanting a more formal outfit, the Summer polo, made from cotton pique at 170 grams per square metre, features a ribbed collar and a reinforced three-button placket, with a spare button sewn on the label.
The choice of marking depends on the material of the clothing. On a cotton t-shirt like the Regent or the Imperial, screen printing gives vibrant colours and becomes very advantageous once a batch exceeds a few dozen identical pieces. On the polyester Sporty, a transfer or a flocking applied at the right temperature is preferred, as excessive heat marks synthetic fibres. Embroidery works well on the pique polo or on a thick sweatshirt, where the fabric can support the weight of the thread without buckling. Individual names and numbers are done through flocking.
Good deals can also be found in good deals, promotions, clearance, sales, and Black Friday. The new arrivals showcase the latest collections, and items shipped in 24 hours are prepared and dispatched within 24 hours. The key events of the year follow a stable order: the Black Friday at the end of autumn, the year-end holidays, the winter sales, the French Days in spring, then the summer sales and back to school.
Sol's belongs to the Solo group, which has been specialising since 1991 in blank textiles for marking professionals. The group is a member of the Fair Wear Foundation, which monitors working conditions in garment workshops.
Yes, flagship models like the Regent and the Imperial are available in children's versions and women's cuts, in addition to the men's or unisex cut. A class or a club can thus dress everyone in the same t-shirt, in the same colour.
The adult Imperial comes in nine sizes, from XS to 5XL, enough to fit very different body types with a single model. Before ordering for a group, check each person's measurements against the size guide.
It should be washed inside out, at thirty or forty degrees according to the label, and tumble drying should be avoided, as it can wear out the screen print as well as the flocking. Ironing should be done inside out, never directly on the marking.
The Regent and the Imperial have a backing tape sewn on the neckline and a ribbed collar containing elastane. The collar thus retains its shape after being worn and does not stretch over washes.
