The French teams of volleyball wear Errea jerseys, an Italian family business that has been a partner of the French Federation since 2008. The contract covers all selections: men and women, beach-volleyball, sitting volleyball, deaf volleyball, and even referees. The home and away jerseys are available in men's and women's cuts, with a more fitted design, made from lightweight and stretchy fabric that moves with the arms at the net without hindering attacks or blocks. The selection also includes pre-match t-shirts, such as the Coven and Evo models, and a tracksuit jacket in the colours of the Blues, designed for both supporters and club players.

Introduced by the International Federation in 1998, the libero is the specialist in reception and defence. They wear a jersey of a contrasting colour so that referees can spot them at a glance, as their role is specific: they cannot block or attack a ball that is entirely above the net, and they replace back-row players without these changes counting. The libero jerseys for the French team, in men's and women's versions, and the matching women's libero shorts reflect this distinction, in a different shade from their teammates.
Shorts should never hinder low movements, diving, or jumping. For women, they are short and fitted: the Mikasa, Errea Premier, or Errea Amazon shorts, made from stretchy fabric, stay in place during receptions on the floor. The women's Nike Performance shorts feature a wide and flat waistband that doesn't squeeze the abdomen. For men, the shorts are longer and looser, like the Mizuno Team Trad, with an elastic waist with a drawstring. In both cases, a breathable fabric that dries quickly is preferred, as indoor heated matches lead to continuous sets and sweat accumulates.
The volleyball outfit is completed by socks. Knee-high and padded under the sole, like the Mizuno Volley, they cushion landings from jumps and minimise friction inside the shoe; the France socks extend the identity of the Blues down to the feet. For warm-up, the tracksuit jacket of the French team keeps muscles warm before the first set and can be removed easily. The Coven and Evo t-shirts, made from lightweight technical fabric, are suitable for training as well as match days in the stands.
The Blues have won two consecutive Olympic titles, in Tokyo in 2021 and in Paris in 2024, as well as the European Championship in 2015. They also won the World League in 2015 and 2017, and then the Nations League in 2022 and 2024.
A close-fitting jersey doesn't get caught in the net and doesn’t flap during jumps. It also allows free movement of the arms for attacks and blocks, without excess fabric under the armpits.
The shorts should fit without compressing: try them while in a squat position, which is the reception position. If they ride up or pinch the waist, go for the next size up; if they sag on the thighs, go for the next size down.
Wash it inside out, at thirty degrees and without fabric softener, to preserve the print and breathability of the technical fabric. Lay it flat to dry, in the open air, away from the dryer and radiator.
A breathable t-shirt, flexible shorts that allow knee bends, and knee-high socks are enough to get started. Avoid thick cotton, which becomes heavy with sweat as the session goes on.
