The ski gloves in the end-of-line collection cover all snow activities: Reusch gloves with R-TEX XT membrane or Gore-Tex for the slopes, down models for extreme cold, Touch-Tec gloves compatible with smartphone screens, Worldcup racing gloves Warrior, children's gloves Kondor and Alan, not to mention KV+ cross-country ski gloves and Lhotse models.
Keep your hands warm on the slopes, for a gentler price.
Reusch was born in 1934 in the attic of Karl Reusch's house in Metzingen, Germany, where he sewed his first gloves. In 1972, his son Gebhard joined the company and launched the brand's first collection of ski gloves, which became one of the benchmarks on the slopes. The Worldcup Warrior range, available in GS and SC versions, is designed for racing skiers: precise cut, pre-shaped fingers and reinforcements on the back of the hand to absorb impacts against the poles. These gloves, thinner than a leisure glove, prioritise the feel of the pole. Leisure models focus more on insulation and comfort.

The membrane, placed between the outer fabric and the lining, blocks water while allowing sweat vapor to escape. R-TEX XT is the in-house membrane of Reusch, waterproof and breathable, found on Primus, Venom, Conan or Outset. The Gore-Tex, used on the Morris and Down Spirit, is known for its reliability in wet snow at the end of the day. The Windstopper of the Karayel primarily stops the wind: it breathes well but is less water-resistant, a choice for dry and cold days. The insulation does the rest: synthetic fibers that retain warmth even when wet, or down like on the Down Spirit, the warmest for its weight but sensitive to moisture.
The Touch-Tec technology, integrated at the tip of the thumb and index finger on models like the Diver X, the Karayel or the Vertex, allows you to answer the phone or check a piste map without taking your gloves off at the top of the chairlift. The cuff varies depending on the use: long and tight with a strap, it slips over the jacket to block powder snow; short, it sits under the sleeve for more freedom. The Reusch Comfleece, made of fleece, can be worn alone in dry weather, for a walk in the resort or a snowshoe outing, or under a mitt on very cold days.
A child with cold hands can't ski anymore: the glove for children must be warm, waterproof and easy to put on by themselves. The Reusch Kondor, with R-TEX XT membrane, and Alan are designed for small hands; we check that the wrist opening is wide enough and that the cuff covers the bottom of the jacket well. A leash often connects the glove to the wrist so it doesn't fall off the chairlift. We choose the size with a slight allowance for growth, without excess: a glove that's too big leaves an air pocket at the tips of the fingers that cools down quickly. For younger ones, a mitt keeps the fingers together and warms better, and a second pair allows for alternating while the other one dries.
The size of a glove often corresponds to the hand's circumference, measured under the knuckles without the thumb and expressed in inches: a size seven corresponds to about ten-eight centimetres. The glove should leave a slight space at the tips of the fingers, without being loose.
Cross-country skiing makes you sweat: you choose a thin, flexible, and breathable glove, often windproof, that lets you feel the grip of the pole. KV+, a Swiss brand specialising in Nordic skiing, makes this type of gloves, like the Campra Royal.
Wash by hand, in lukewarm water with a mild detergent and without fabric softener, then rinse thoroughly. The gloves should air dry, fingers up, away from a radiator that hardens the leather and could damage the membrane.
A thin silk, merino wool, or synthetic fibre liner adds a warm layer and wicks away sweat. It also allows you to take off the glove for a moment to adjust a binding without exposing your skin to the cold.
Leather on the palm and inside fingers resists wear from poles, edges and ski lifts, and maintains a good grip. It should be maintained with appropriate balm to remain supple and water-repellent over the winters.
