The Women's Hiking Tops page brings together technical tops, long-sleeved shirts and sleeveless polos, from Dynafit, Salewa, Haglöfs, Helly Hansen, Kari Traa, Kathmandu, 4F, CMP, Regatta or Élémenterre.
A lightweight top that wicks away sweat, from the trail to the summit.
Kari Traa, a Norwegian brand founded in 2002 by the freestyle skier of the same name, who was the Olympic champion that same year, was one of the first to design technical clothing made just for women, with bold colours and patterns. Dynafit, with its Alpine and Sky shirts, comes from ski touring and trail running: its very light tops are made for fast hiking. Salewa, a brand from the Dolomites, applies the same approach to its Puez shirts.
A hiking shirt made of s synthetic fabric wicks sweat away to the outside and dries within minutes in the wind, whereas cotton stays damp and cools you down during breaks. Breathable fabrics, like those from 4F or Helly Hansen, are suitable for warm ascents; the feminine cuts follow the body shape without being tight, and offset seams prevent chafing under the pack straps. The V-neck, like on the Élémenterre Astana, offers more ventilation.
The long-sleeved top with a zip collar, like the Kathmandu Seeker or the long-sleeved shirt from 4F, serves as a base layer in cool weather and protects your arms from the sun at altitude. The sleeveless polo, like the Regatta Tima or the one from CMP, provides a collar that protects the neck and a smarter look for travel and trekking. A technical shirt can be washed at 30 degrees, without fabric softener, and air dries.
The women’s clothing line continues with t-shirts and tank tops, bras, shirts, sweatshirts and fleeces, windbreakers and jackets, parkas and puffer jackets, trousers and leggings, shorts, socks, on the women’s clothing page.
The new arrivals showcase the latest collections, the promotions feature discounted items, and the clearance includes end-of-line products. Items shipped within 24h are prepared and sent out in 24 hours.

The very light shirts from Dynafit, a brand coming from ski touring and trail running, are designed for intense effort: fine fabric, quick drying and a fitted cut that does not rub under a vest's straps.
The tank top offers the best ventilation but exposes the shoulders to the sun and the rubbing of straps. The technical t-shirt remains the best compromise. Thin long sleeves protect from UVs at altitude without getting too warm.
Take your usual size: a technical shirt should be close to the body to wick moisture away, without being tight. Make sure the back covers the lower back under the pack and that the shoulders remain free.
By hand or on the wool cycle, cold or at thirty degrees, with a gentle detergent. Dry it flat, out of the sun: heat and strong spinning felt the wool. It airs well and needs washing less often than synthetics.
