The Belts page brings together leather, woven, reversible, western belts and chains for men, women and children, from Guess, Nudie Jeans, Carhartt, Lyle & Scott, Jack & Jones, Anerkjendt, Pieces, Le Temps des Cerises or Ichi.
A discreet accessory that completes an outfit.
A full grain leather belt uses the top layer of the hide, which is the most durable and develops a nice patina over time. Split leather or suede, made from the lower layers, is cheaper but wears out faster and can crack at the holes. Leather belts from Jack & Jones, Nudie Jeans, or Carhartt can be worn with jeans and will shape to your waist over the months.
The width is chosen according to the trousers: a thin belt, around three centimetres, goes well with a suit or a dress, whereas a wider belt, around four centimetres, suits jeans with larger loops. The western belt, like the one from Nudie Jeans, is recognised by its elaborate buckle, the woven belt, like the one from Lyle & Scott, has no holes and adjusts precisely, and the reversible belt, like those from Guess, offers two colours in one.
The size of a belt is measured from the prong, the tip of the buckle, to the central hole: you should choose it a few centimetres above your waist measurement at the loops. The leather should be conditioned occasionally with a colourless cream, wiped down if it gets wet, and stored flat or rolled up, rather than folded. Chain belts from Guess or fabric belts are worn as fashion accessories over a dress or a long jumper.
Accessories are completed with bags, caps and beanies, sunglasses, scarves and gloves, watches, smartphone accessories, on the accessories page.
The new arrivals showcase the latest products, the promotions highlight discounted items, and items shipped in 24h are prepared and dispatched within 24 hours. The great deals, clearance, and sales complete the offering.
Full grain leather comes from the top layer of the hide, which is the most durable: it develops a nice patina over time. Split leather, from the lower layers, is less durable and tends to crack around the holes.
Measure your waist over the trousers you will wear and choose a belt that is a bit longer. When buckled, it should fall on the middle hole, allowing room for adjustment in both directions if your size changes.
A thin belt, around three centimetres, goes well with smart trousers. For jeans, a wider belt, close to four centimetres, like those from Carhartt or Nudie Jeans, fits better in the loops and gives a casual look.
The woven belt can be fastened anywhere, without holes, and fits the waist while sitting or standing: ideal for summer with chinos. The reversible one offers two colours, usually black and brown, to match the belt with the shoes.
Hang them by the buckle or roll them loosely, never folded, to avoid creases. Condition the leather once or twice a year with a colourless cream, and let it dry in the air if it gets wet.
