Uhlsport, founded in 1948 by Karl Uhl in Balingen, southern Germany, offers its balls according to their use. The Match is designed for competition, with precise touch and stable trajectory. The Team is intended for collective training, and the Resist can withstand abrasive surfaces and intensive sessions. Their AddGlue technology enhances the cohesion of the panels, ensuring the ball maintains its shape and roundness despite repeated strikes. A club kit often includes several match balls and mostly robust training balls.

The vests are used to form teams during matches and small-sided games. You need at least one per player for half the squad, plus a few more for substitutes and goalkeepers. The reversible models PowerShot, in yellow and orange or black and white, offer two colours in one piece: you change teams by turning the vest inside out, which halves the amount to carry. Choose shades that contrast with the club's shirt. The Uhlsport Training Bib vest, made from lightweight and loose mesh, is worn over the training shirt without hindering movement.
For a set of shirts, start by ordering by sizes, noting down each player's measurements, then plan for one or two spare pieces for new members. The team shirt adidas with vertical stripes, made from breathable technical fabric, is suitable for personalisation with the number and the name of the club. The shorts Joma Glasgow, from the Spanish brand founded in 1965, come in children's sizes: its elastic waistband accommodates the players' growth. The sets Hummel, matching t-shirt and shorts, dress the youngest players for training and weekend matches.
The sac Errea Basic, designed by the Italian brand established in 1988 near Parma, holds the player's kit, shoes, and water bottle; a plain model in the club's colours reinforces the team's identity when travelling. The coach carries the balls in a sac to hold balls made of mesh, which allows the balls to dry after the session and makes it easy to quickly count the equipment stored. A net of ten to twelve balls is enough for a session with a group of young players. They should be stored deflated slightly during long breaks, in a dry place and protected from frost.
The FIFA Basic, FIFA Quality, and FIFA Quality Pro labels indicate that the ball has passed tests for circumference, roundness, bounce, water absorption, and shape retention. The Pro level corresponds to the most stringent requirements for high-level competitions.
The U6 to U9 play with size three, U10 to U13 with size four, and size five is required from U14 onwards. A club should therefore stock three ball sizes to cover all its teams.
Wash them inside out, at thirty degrees, without fabric softener or tumble dryer, which can damage the numbers and logos. Separate bright colours from whites and dry flat or on a hanger, in the shade.
The ideal is one ball per player to maximize ball touches during technical exercises, or at minimum, one for every two. For a group of twelve children, a net of ten to twelve balls is more than sufficient.
The sewn ball, more robust and cheaper to replace, is suitable for training on synthetic surfaces. The thermally bonded ball, rounder and more waterproof, is reserved for matches, where its stable trajectory makes a difference.
