Alien Climbing harness X

Alien X - Sixth Generation Micro Cam The Alien X is the sixth generation of the micro cam, the first version of which was certified in 1986 in Colorado (USA). It incorporates the strengths of the original design while offering improved finishes and performance. Available in six sizes, the new Alien X features the following enhancements: Cam heads with X-grip coating: Better grip on cam heads from the first uses. Three multifunction sizes: The three large models (3/4 yellow, 7/8 grey, and 1 red) allow for the use of a passive stopper. More ergonomic and resized trigger bar: The trigger bar has been redesigned to make handling the micro cam Alien X easier and faster, both during placement and retrieval. The Alien X is also more practical to use when wearing gloves and has been lengthened by 3 mm between the trigger bar and the cam heads. Robust and compact overall structure: The metal rivets and the piece joining them give the micro cam a cohesive appearance thanks to a more compact design. FAITHFUL TO ITS ORIGINS The Alien X integrates the strengths of its unique original design while remaining true to the first patented system: Lightweight and reduced volume: The harness weight is reduced and the overall bulk is less. Flexibility: Allows for absorbing the movements of the rope and preventing movement of the cam heads once in place. Geometric shape of cam heads retained. Colour coding for size identification: This colour code has been the reference in climbing guides for the past 30 years. All Alien X devices are handcrafted in Barcelona. Size Specifications Alien X Black: Opening range from 9.3 mm (0.37 in) to 14 mm (0.55 in).
