Alien X GreyThe Alien X is the sixth generation of the micro cam, with its first version having been approved in 1986 in Colorado (USA). It incorporates the strengths of the original design while providing improved finishes and performance. Offered in six sizes, the new Alien X features the following enhancements:Cam heads with X-grip coating: Better grip of the cam heads from the very first uses.Three multifunction sizes: The three larger models (3/4 yellow, 7/8 grey, and 1 red) allow the use of a passive stopper.More ergonomic and resized trigger bar: The trigger bar has been redesigned for easier handling of the micro cam Alien X and to speed up use, whether placing it or retrieving it. The Alien X is also easier to use when wearing gloves and is longer as 3 mm have been added between the trigger bar and the cam heads.Robust and compact overall structure: The metal rivets and the piece joining them give the micro cam a consistent appearance thanks to a more compact design.FAITHFUL TO ITS ORIGINSThe Alien X integrates the strengths of the unique original design by remaining faithful to the first patented system:Lightweight and reduced volume: The weight of the harness is lighter and the whole is less bulky.Flexibility: Allows for the absorption of rope movements and prevents the movement of the cam heads once in place.Geometric shape of the cam heads maintained.Colour code for size identification: This colour code is the reference for climbing topos over the past 30 years.Measurements: Opening range from 18.6 mm (0.73 in) to 28 mm (1.10 in).All Alien X devices are handmade in Barcelona.
