SOFT INSTEP CLOSURE SYSTEM
The SOFT INSTEP CLOSURE SYSTEM is a wide, anatomically curved strap combined with a soft, thermoformed EVA cushion that distributes pressure evenly over the instep area.
The SOFT INSTEP CLOSURE SYSTEM is adjustable on both sides to perfectly center the EVA cushion on a high or low instep. The system eliminates the need for a high instep expander. The SOFT INSTEP CLOSURE SYSTEM is replaceable.
TECNO-3 PUSHING SYSTEM
The TECNO-3 SYSTEM at SIDI adjusts over the top of the feet for a custom fit. SIDI closures, known to be reliable and replaceable, are enhanced by an all-new proprietary material, SIDI thread, which is completely non-binding for intuitive, effortless adjustments on the fly. Like most small parts SIDI, the TECHNO-3 PUSH loop is repairable and replaceable.
It can be adjusted on the fly, thanks to an innovative button that can be pushed to lift the buckle and make adjustment easier.
SIMPLE TECNO-3 PUSH
The central mechanism, SINGLE TECNO-3 PUSH SYSTEM, creates a perfect tension balance between the inner and outer side of the shoe.
The symmetrical mechanism guarantees an excellent closure that adapts to each instep.
An innovative button added to the monofilament buckle, when pushed, lifts the buckle for easy adjustment.
ADJUSTABLE HEEL RETENTION DEVICE
The ADJUSTABLE HEEL RETENTION DEVICE reinforces the top of the heel cup and improves the fit by closing the back of the shoe around the rider's heel. The heel retainer reinforces the top of the heel cup so the heel doesn't slip off during climbs or sprints.
Each side of the heel can be adjusted independently for a perfect fit. For custom adjustment, turn the screw toward the + sign to tighten the heel retainer and toward the - sign to open it. Lightweight, easy to use and replaceable.
SIDI HEEL CUP
Reinforced cup stabilizes and supports the heel. Anatomically shaped plastic, reduces heel slip and provides increased power transfer. Provides additional foot protection in the event of an accident.
REPLACEABLE HEEL CUP
For ease of walking, Sidi cycling shoes feature a replaceable polyurethane heel cup. WIRE's heel pad has a new design and is very lightweight.
CARBON SOLE WITH VENTILATION
The main benefits of the VENT CARBON sole are not only superior power transfer, thanks to its lightness and stiffness, but also comfort in hot weather.
The VENT CARBON sole is designed with an integrated vent and air channels for heat dissipation and air circulation. The vent can be opened or closed for 4 season comfort.
WIND CARBON SOLE
The VENT CARBON sole is handcrafted exclusively from carbon fiber in an oppositely angled weave pattern that maximizes stiffness while allowing a small degree of controlled flex in the toe area. This carefully designed flexibility biomechanically relieves stress on the plantar tendon and helps promote circulation.
The VENT CARBON sole features a standard 3-hole drill pattern, a printed 10mm side and front-to-back cleat alignment scale, and the memory eyelet for easy cleat alignment and replacement.
